Six things we are watching right now across fitness, recovery and entertainment. Prices checked October 15, 2026.
Google Fitbit Edge — $179.99
Pre-order now, in stores October 27.
Fitbit is finding the middle ground between a smartwatch and a screenless band. The Edge adds an AMOLED display, built-in GPS, ECG and up to seven days of battery, and it is Google’s first tracker with a replaceable battery. A Steph Curry Edition runs $219.99.
Why it’s on our radar: if you want real health tracking without living inside another smartwatch, this is the one to watch.
Nike × Hyperice Air Zoom Hyperslide — $249
Out now.
A recovery slide with a magnetic pod in the strap that delivers heat and vibration to the top of the foot in 15-minute sessions. Air Zoom cushioning underneath.
Why it’s on our radar: recovery is moving into things you already wear. This is the most approachable version yet, at about a quarter of the price of the Hyperboot.
GUNNAR Ojai Vision Recovery System — $99
Out now.
GUNNAR’s first product beyond eyewear: a foldable blackout mask with air compression, heat, vibration and Bluetooth audio, built around a 10-minute reset.
Why it’s on our radar: a screen-break ritual for people who spend their days looking at screens, at a price that makes it an easy gift.
Sunny Foldable Reformers — $599.99–$699.99
$599.99 for the SF-PM10; $699.99 for the SF-PM20 with reformer box.
Foldable steel frames, five springs, a jump board and transport wheels. Both fold to roughly 27 × 19 × 47 inches.
Why it’s on our radar: the under-$700 reformer has arrived. The real question is what you give up versus a studio-grade machine. For comparison, the Peak Pilates casa Reformer with Long/Short Box is the studio-grade home reformer we carry, at $2,795.

Winmau Autodarts X — $599.95
Pre-order now, ships November.
Four HD cameras and a built-in lighting ring clamp around any bristle board and score every dart automatically. Drill-free setup. Includes three months of Autodarts Plus; the AI Referee needs an ongoing Plus subscription ($79.95 a year).
Why it’s on our radar: the dartboard gets a surprisingly sophisticated upgrade, and it turns a game room board into something you can play online.
Atari 800XL — $219.99
Pre-order now, ships April 23, 2027.
A recreation of the 1983 home computer with a full-size mechanical keyboard, a working cartridge slot, HDMI out and 25 built-in games.
Why it’s on our radar: retro gaming is becoming its own design category, not just nostalgia.
From the shop: WalkingPad Double-Sided Treadmill with 5% Incline — $269
Free US shipping. One side is a walking pad with a 5% incline for under the desk; flip it over and it becomes a massage step for tired feet at the end of the day. Pairs well with the Hyperslide if you are building a feet-first recovery routine.
